2 Vintage Carved Wood Antelope Gazelle Animal Figures - Mid century Pair Retro Home Decor Library Wildlife Decor Sculpture Brown Mid century
Pair of carved wooden antelopes or gazelles that have a wonderful grain to the wood which I believe is mahogany. The pair are grazing with their graceful long necks downward. They have tiny black and white eyes and little pointed ears. There are two tiny places for their antlers on the top of their heads. The antlers on these carved figurines are missing.
Measurements:
Each of the figures is 6" high and 7" wide. The oval shaped bases are approximately 5 1/2" x 2".
The pair are in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. Their antlers are missing and the little holes where they would be located are empty - see photo closeups for detail.
