Pretty hand round painted antique Nippon vanity dish or covered powder jar. It is signed with the blue Nippon stamp which was in use since 1911. This was probably part of a set that included a hair receiver.
The dish has a unique dainty design and features a dark pink rose with a blue ribbon surrounded by gold embellishments.
It is in great condition for it's age with no chips or cracks. The gold on the dish shows some wear in various places. Light wear on the inside edges as would be expected an antique item that is about 100 years old.
The back of the dish is signed with blue Rising Sun and says Hand Painted Nippon (see photo).
