A vintage ceramic eagle planter or vase made circa mid century. This vintage eagle has very light teal green, tan, and brown feathers and a yellow beak and feet. Her head tilts to one side. The bird is standing on a brown and light green rock shape. The bottom is stamped with the number 8089. The sticker on the bottom is missing but there is still the oval imprint for it on the bottom. I believe this is a Velco Company import from Japan that is mid century in age. Velco was located in Los Angeles, California and imported home decor items from Japan after WWII.
Measures 8 1/2" long and 4" wide. It is about 7" high.
The inner opening is 2 1/4" wide x 4" long.
In good vintage condition with light chipping and wear here and there upon close inspection. The underside of the tail has a hairline crack. Wear is commensurate with vintage age. See photos for detail.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
