An antique Art Deco Porsgrund Pottery of Norway coffee pot or teapot in white, an orangish red and black. This unusual little pot has a white background and the orange/red and black accent colors. The shape is a rounded egg shape or oval. The lid is a high dome shape and has a 3D cube as a lid at the top. I believe this small vintage/antique coffee pot was made between 1911 - 1935 as indicated by the green PP anchor hallmark stamp on the bottom. This is the mark used in this time period by the Porsgrund Pottery Company of Norway.
The upper rim of the little coffee pot and it’s lid have an orangish-red ombré color that fades as it goes out into the white background. The black accent color is quite bold in contrast. The spout, top rim, handle, and base are black.
The top knob on the lid is also black and is special as it is a 3D diamond shape. An adorable accent on an adorable little coffee pot or teapot!
Measures 7 1/4" high with the lid on. Without the lid, the pot is 5 1/4" high. It is 6" wide from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. The center has an approximate 4" diameter.
The bottom is marked in green PP with an anchor stamp and has the numbers 1865 impressed on one side.
The coffee pot comes in nice vintage condition without chips or cracks - wear consistent with vintage age. See photos for detail.
