A beautiful little short and round pitcher with a pinched spout and a faux bamboo handle that is decorated all over with applied flowers, leaves and a bird in flight. The background is an off white color and there are a dark brown, black, a burnished gold, yellow, and a turquoise color used on this Asian / Chinese style little home decor piece. The applied designs of the flowers, leaves, bird and other accents are raised. The little curved handle is an off white color and looks like a piece of bamboo. The sides of the elongated pinched spout are painted with a black and gold accent with a curled design. The flower leaves are also a dark color and have gold accent detail. The flowers have white leaves and a small turquoise center. The bird in flight on one side of this little pitcher is brown, black, white, yellow, and a bit of the gold / bronze accent color on his feathers. The bottom of this unique pitcher even has little painted leafy designs - very unusual to have such detail on the bottom of a piece.
Measures 3 1/2" high and has an approx. 3 3/4" diameter at widest part.
The bottom of this little pitcher is stamped with blue writing in Chinese.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear commensurate with vintage age.
