A vintage light amber glass Serving Dish with a glass handle and a unique and wonderfully bold gold trim on the outer edges. It has an curved bowl shape with a handle in the middle. The handle is in a heart shape. The gold designs features an ornate geometric pattern with swirls, dots, cross hatching. There are 8 raised pointes on the rim all around the top. In 4 of these points / places the gold design dips down into the bowl section and in between these are 4 places where it tapers up to the pointed corner on the rim. These points accent the 8 sides of the heart shaped handle that slowly spread out to the light amber clear bowl center section - you can feel the sections on the bottom as slight rounded areas. Very lovely!
This piece is a depression era tidbit tray and is circa mid century.
This band with the gold decoration has a 10" diameter. It is 4 1/2" high to the top of the heart shaped handle.
This glass serving item is on the hefty side for its size, weighing in at 2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This retro glass serving or sandwich tray is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear on the bowl and gold trim commensurate with vintage/antique age. See photos for detail.
Quite a lovely serving glass dish or tidbit tray.
