This is a fetching Italian ceramic dish that is hand painted and marked ITALY on the bottom. It features what appears to be a signature of the artist in black at the end of the piece near the pointed end - kind of smudged. This colorful dish has a pedestal base - it is approx. 3 1/2" high at the highest point of the dish due to the pedestal and the 3D fruit at the top end.
It has a slice of watermelon, grapes, berries, a pomegranate and three 3D berries on the top end that appear to hang into the dish. They are real eye-catchers. There are cut outs - pierced sections - in the ceramic making a lattice work design on the top and sides. The fruit, cut out designs, leaves and the pedestal base are accented with gold.
It measures approx. 7 1/2" in length and is approx. 5" across at it's widest point.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Looks great!

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them.
