Beautiful solid cast iron black trivet with a matte finish made by Griswold Trivet, a company that made a number of these types of black cast iron trivets in the mid century. There are three small pedestal feet on the back. This pattern has eight circles in the round frame with a six-sided star in the very center. The handle has some criss cross texture on it.
Lovely trivet! Very unique and ornate.
Measures 9" long x 5 1/2" wide.
Good vintage condition, slight signs of use. Great for dining table accent, kitchen or wall decor.
