A wonderful vintage mid century wood fruit or vegetable bowl that would be perfect for holding and displaying your fruits in your country kitchen or as a centerpiece all by itself. The label on the bottom calls this line of bowls Beautywood. It was made by the Premiere Manufacturing Company. The bowl looks round at first glance, but it is a very slight oval with a 1" difference in the length and width. The top wood section is in amazing shape considering this is a mid century item. I would guess it did not see much use. The base is a shiny silver metal that is screwed on to the top in three places.
The bottom of the bowl has a metal round pedestal base that is wider at the bottom than where it attached to the wooden bowl section.
The retro fruit bowl is 11 1/2" x 10 1/2" in diameter on the wood section. The base has a 5 1/2" diameter.
No splits or chips in the wood. The silver metal is in nice shape with little wear as well. This bowl is is in very nice vintage condition - it looks like it didn’t have much use as it is in such nice condition.
Some washing and care directions are printed on the bottom underside.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
