A very mod mod pair of dark cobalt blue candle pottery holders with some gold accent trim that are from the mid century. The pair are a very unique shape as the bottoms are very wide. They are each hand signed on the bottom but I am unable to make out the designer's signature. They are hefty candleholders yet they are hollow inside. The bottoms have a brown backing on them where they are signed.
The two matching vintage candle holders are on the heavy side, weighing in over 2 pounds before packaging for shipment. These very distinctive dark blue candle holders stand out because of the very wide bottom bases, the thin line of gold trim around the bases and the gold accent wafer under the section that holds the candle. The accent trim has been applied very artfully - it is not uniform or perfectly straight.

The 2 candle holders measure 4 1/2" high. The bases are approx. 5" across.
In nice vintage condition with slight wear here and there - they really still look great.
