Description: Vintage German Melitta Zurich red striped porcelain coffee/tea pot. Made in the 1950's with a design by Jump Ernst (in 1954) for Melitta, based in Germany. The design of the teapot with the colorful stripes (they came in yellow, red and blue) is called Zurich (Zürich).
Bottom is stamped "Melitta 5-100 Germany".
Size: 6 1/2'' tall without lid, 7 1/2'' tall with lid. Base is 4 7/8'' wide. Approx. 8'' from handle to spout.
Condition: Great vintage condition. No chips or cracks. No staining. Very light use marks/wear (if any).
Amazing vintage teapot with mid century modern flare. Rare find in fantastic condition.
