This vintage Sadler Pottery Co. of England teapot that is circa early mid century. It features a yellow color and gold accent trim. There are swirls all around the body of the teapot.

NOTE: The Sadler Co. of Staffordshire, England was started by James Sadler in 1882. He made pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. His first teapots were known as “Brown Betty” and were made of red clay and finished with a dark brown glaze. The Sadler Company was purchased by Churchill China in the early 2000s.

This yellow teapot has gold accent trim on the top of the knob, the tip of the spout, on the handle, on the swirls around the teapot, the lid an the top opening of the pot itself. All of these gold accents are in nice condition with slight loss on the gold designs - see photos for detail.

The bottom is stamped with the Sadler hallmark and says SADLER MADE IN ENGLAND and has gold hand lettering that says 1493BB.

Measures 6" tall including the lid and from handle to the spout. It is 9" across from tip of handle to the end of the spout. The round base has a 4" diameter.

In fair vintage condition with no cracks or chips and lots of crazing, especially in the bottom of the teapot that can be seen from the outside. Light wear to the gold trim. Price reflects condition.
