Lovely mid century mod carafe or pitcher in very nice vintage condition. This hand blown clear glass Bormioli style decanter or carafe would be great for any kitchen, bar or man cave, either as a serving piece or for display. The shape with the hole in the middle makes it easy to grab and pour from. There is a small pointed lip on the one side of the top spout for easy pouring as well.
This unique pitcher features a very nice art glass mid century modern shape with the hold in the center and a clean contemporary look. This piece is hand blown as evidenced by the small bubbles in the glass here and there typical of hand blown glass.
No chips or cracks - this retro serving piece looks great and has very little wear.
Measures approx.11 1/2" tall. It is about 6" wide at the widest part. The base has a 4" diameter.
The decanter in the Bormioli style is not signed or marked. It weighs close to 3 lbs. before packaging for shipment - a substantial piece of barware!
