What a beautiful and eye-catching hand painted vintage metal tray made by the Nashco Company of New York. The original sticker from the company is still intact on the back.
This colorful tray would be great used as a serving tray or sitting up on a shelf as display. Is black with outer gold border and floral design in center. Is chip and alcohol resistant. Is signed by Kitty on the bottom right side. Best guess is this tray is circa mid century.
The black background is offset by the center cluster of flowers in yellow, white, pink, mauve, blue, and green in the center. The great shape of this tray also make it stand out as it is a rectangle but has cut corners. There are two brass handles, one on either end of this vintage serving or home decor item.
Measures 12 1/2" x 18" and is 1" high on the sides.
The sticker on the back says HAND PAINTED, CHIP AND ALCOHOL RESISTANT. NASH CO NY 3, NY
This retro tray is in nice vintage condition with some light scratching on the back, the top and the sides as would be expected from use. Some patina on the brass handles. See photos for details.
