This antique ceramic pitcher made circa 100 years ago a is an mint green wash over a white background. The color goes well with the bouquet of flowers on the one side that are shades of pink and mauve with some gray shadow color. At one time, there was gold trim on the upper rim that has worn away. The interior of the pitcher is white.
This pitcher has a unique shape on the spout section where a horizontal line meets vertical lines on either side of the spout itself. The spout itself is quite wide - very unusual. The handle comes to a rounded point at the top and is easy to grab a hold of.
The hallmark is clearly seen in the bottom that looks like an "S" and a small house shape. The very faded letters USA are under that green hallmark stamp.
A wonderful antique shabby chic or country farmhouse home decor item for bathroom, bedroom or kitchen decor.
This pitcher is 7" high and about 8" wide from tip of spout to end of handle. The base has a 3 3/4" diameter.
Weighs a little over 2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This pitcher is in nice antique condition with some wear on the gold trim on the spout/upper rim and slight discoloration commensurate with antique age. See photos for detail.
