A wooden pair of wooden Mission Style candle holders. This matching set of tall wood candlestick holders have a tired base with three layers on the base - would look perfect for your retro home with a simple, casual and comfortable feel.
Mission furniture furniture that originated in the late 19th century. The term was first popularized by Joseph P. McHugh of New York, a furniture manufacturer and retailer. The word mission references the Spanish missions throughout colonial California. The style became increasingly popular following the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo (my home town). The style was also associated with the American Arts and Crafts movement.
The vintage pair are wood and have a nice dark stain and nice wood grain. They have a tall shape, being a very slender square shape on the top and getting wider at the square base area than at the top. The tall sections are screwed into the square tiered bases by two screws that can be seen on the underside. The pair are lightweight but sturdy.
In nice vintage condition with some light use commensurate with vintage age.
Each candlestick measures 15" tall. The square top sides where the candle goes are 1 1/4" long. The square base has 4" long sides.
This great Mission Style pair fits standard-sized taper candles.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them.
