Mid Century Mod Blown Glass Green Decanter w/ Bulbous Stopper - Empoli Vintage Barware Home Decor Mid century
Lovely hand blown green crackle glass decanter with a blown glass stopper from the mid century. The decanter has a wide bulbous bottom section that has ridges - rather looks like a pumpkin from the top. Under these ridges is another section that meets the top vertical lines with a little bit of a plain band between them. The top is a long think neck. The stopper has some vertical ridges on it that match the bulbous bottom of the decanter. The stopper is blown glass and sits in this mid century glass piece loosely.
This Empoli style decanter that is very mid century is unmarked.
Measurements:
decanter - 15" high with the stopper in and 12" without the stopper. The widest bulbous part has an approx. 8" diameter.
stopper - 4" long
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A bit of discoloration within the interior bottom. The discoloration does not show if liquid is within. As this is a hand blown glass item, the stopper sits loosely (wiggles around a bit) in the opening.
