Vintage Murano Art Glass Sculpture Abstract Twist - Free Form Mod Mid century Modern Home Decor - Italy Retro Art Glass Blue Orange Clear
Beautiful abstract mod art glass sculpture that features shades of blue, orange and clear glass. This glass piece has a flat square base of clear glass.
It features two pieces, one on either side that are twisted together and then join together as one at the base. The very top is solid blue twist, and comes to a rounded point.
The colorful blue and orange glass is encased in the clear glass on this Murano art glass piece.
NOTE: Murano Sommerso is a glass making technique that was invented by the Murano Glass artists in the 1930’s. Sommerso technique is based upon submerging glass of one color in layers of glass of another color.

diameter of sides of the square base - 3" each
This sculpture weighs slightly over 3 lbs. before packaging for shipment. Rather heavy for its size.
In nice vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Slight wear certainly commensurate with vintage age. The original sticker that says MURANO GLASSWARE is still intact on the clear glass base - see photo.

Very beautiful glass sculpture!!I didn’t know this site but I recently discovered it and I am impressed with all beautiful and creatives items that I see. this sculpture particularly is extremely vibrant , elegant and unique .The only thing that I could wish was a little more higher for my table ,but looks awesome in my living room . I love it !! Thank you very much !!
