Vintage Pink Depression Glass Pitcher - Pillar Optic Pink by Anchor Hocking 1937-1942 Ribbed Paneled Sides Tall Serving Dining Kitchen

Sorry, this item has sold.

Fabulous Depression era pink glass pitcher. The sides have some wonderful paneled or ribbed sections that run vertically. The handle is prominent and attaches to the pitcher at the top and attaches about 1/2 of the way down the pitcher. The glass is on the thick side making this a sturdy piece for dining, serving, or display.

The style of this pitcher is called Pillar Optic Pink and was made by Anchor Hocking from 1937 until 1942.

Measures 8 1/4" high. It is about 6" from from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. The top opening has a 4 1/4" diameter. A nice heft, weighing in at just a bit over 2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.

The vintage pitcher is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some bubbles in the glass here and there typical of glass from that time. Light wear commensurate with vintage age - Depression Era.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
