Cute and kitschy set of two 3D heart shaped cherub wall plaques from the mid century. The matching pair of cherubs or angels wearing only a cloth drape are ceramic and are in a heart shape. One angel touches the other angels cheek in their pose. They appear to be identical with the cherubs facing different ways on each plaque. They are a light color and have pale gold hair, blue eyes, pink cheeks and gold accent trim in various places. The background on the bottom of each plaque features yellow leaves with brown dots with a white rose in the center bottom.
Each has a loop on the top for easy hanging.
Measure 5" x 6" and about 2" deep.
They are hallmarked on the back with the word PORCELAIN, and a stamp of crossing arrows with the numbers 1342. This is the stamp for the company Arnart Creations, New York that produced home decor and collectible items in the mid century in Japan. (1950s/1960s).
Perfect vintage wall decor for a hallway, bedroom, bathroom or living room. Sweet hearts!
Each plaque measures approx. 6" across and about 5" wide. They are about 3" deep and the 3 dimensional character make these heart shaped wall decor pieces stick out with some depth/dimension.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear typical of mid century item on both and still look adorable.
