Vintage Fostoria Candy Box & Lid in Coin Glass - Amber Glass Lidded Dish by Fostoria 1776 Designs American Bicentennial - Round Dish

Sorry, this item has sold.

Beautiful amber coin pattern candy dish or candy box made by Fostoria that has coins around the base that depict symbols of the America including the Libery Bell, an eagle, Benjamin Franklin's bust, and a Starburst with a crown on the top. One of the coins is on the lid but it not very visible. My guess is that it was made in in the mid 1970s as that was the U.S.'s Bicentennial celebration.

Displays beautifully in bright light.

This amber glass lidded candy dish or box was made by Fostoria from 1958 - 1982 and has since been discontinued.

This round candy bowl with lid measures 6" across and is 4" high to top of knob on the lid.

It is in nice vintage with no chips or cracks.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
